Attorney Whitney Wootton with her children in Texas

Whitney C. WoottonFounder & immigration attorney

Helping clients tell their stories.

Immigration law is Whitney’s passion. After teaching English in South Korea and working as a legal assistant in Houston for several years, Whitney attended Seattle University School of Law with the goal of becoming an immigration lawyer.

During law school she served on the board of Seattle University’s chapter of the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP), and volunteered with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) Seattle representing children seeking asylum. She worked as an intern at the immigration firm of Sunbird Law, which later became Open Sky Law, where she was an attorney until 2026.

Whitney founded Monarch Immigration Law, PLLC with a simple belief: you deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported when navigating the immigration system.

Born in Canyon and raised in Round Rock, Whitney is proud to call Central Texas home. Her deep roots in the community have shaped her understanding that immigrants are an essential part of what makes Texas vibrant, resilient, and strong. She is committed to serving individuals and families with compassion, respect, and unwavering advocacy.

Immigration law can feel overwhelming—especially during times of rapid policy changes and uncertainty. Whitney's goal is to provide clients with something that is often in short supply: clarity.

She believes effective representation means not only understanding the law, but also communicating openly, answering questions honestly, and ensuring clients understand their options at every stage of their case.

Every immigration case is more than a collection of forms and documents; it is a story of family, perseverance, hardship, hope, and opportunity.

Whitney works closely with each client to identify and strategically present the facts that highlight the strongest aspects of their case, helping decision-makers see the full picture behind the application.
